Terms of Service

Effective date: August 15, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between kyulabs (the “Company”) and users in connection with the use of the My Study Deck application (the “Service”) provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

“Service”
means the mobile application provided by the Company, including features for creating study decks, studying, and generating study decks with AI.
“User”
means a person who uses the Service under these Terms.
“Content”
means data such as study decks, cards, and question sets created by a User within the Service.

Article 3 (Effect and Changes to the Terms)

  1. These Terms apply to every User who wishes to use the Service.
  2. When necessary, the Company may amend these Terms to the extent that the amendment does not violate applicable law.
  3. If these Terms change, the Company will announce the changes through a notice within the Service or an app update.
  4. A User who does not agree to the amended Terms may stop using the Service and withdraw from it.

Article 4 (Services Provided)

The Company provides the following services:

  • Creating, editing, and deleting study decks and cards
  • Study and quiz features
  • AI-based automatic generation of study decks
  • Data synchronization through iCloud (iOS)
  • Importing and exporting study decks
  • Other services designated by the Company

Article 5 (Use of the Service)

  1. The Service is available on iOS and Android devices.
  2. Some iOS features require connection to an iCloud account, while Android stores study data on the device.
  3. Some features, including AI study-deck generation, may be subject to daily usage limits.
  4. Additional features and unlimited use may be available through a premium subscription.

Article 6 (Paid Services)

  1. The Company may offer some services for a fee.
  2. Payments for paid services are processed through the Apple App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android.
  3. A subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
  4. Subscriptions may be managed or canceled in the account settings of the store through which the purchase was made (App Store or Google Play).
  5. Refunds are governed by the refund policy of the store through which the purchase was made (Apple or Google).

Article 7 (User Obligations)

Users must not engage in any of the following conduct:

  • Using another person’s information or registering false information
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
  • Using the Service in a way that violates law or public order and morals
  • Commercially using information obtained through the Service without the Company’s prior consent
  • Violating any other usage rules established by the Company

Article 8 (Ownership of Content)

  1. Copyright in Content created by a User belongs to that User.
  2. The Company does not use a User’s Content for purposes other than providing the Service.
  3. If a User withdraws from the Service or deletes data, the relevant Content cannot be recovered.

Article 9 (Suspension of the Service)

  1. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for system inspection, maintenance, replacement, or similar reasons.
  2. The Service may be suspended if it cannot be provided because of a natural disaster, war, or another event of force majeure.
  3. The Company is not liable for a User’s loss caused by suspension of the Service, except where the Company acted intentionally or with gross negligence.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Company is not liable for disruption in use of the Service caused by a User.
  2. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of Content created by Users.
  3. The Company is not liable for disputes between Users or between a User and a third party.
  4. The accuracy of AI-generated Content is not guaranteed, and Users should use it for reference only.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. If a dispute arises in connection with these Terms, the Company and the User will seek to resolve it through good-faith consultation.
  2. If no agreement is reached, the procedures prescribed by applicable law will apply.
  3. The laws of the Republic of Korea govern the interpretation and application of these Terms.

Article 12 (Miscellaneous)

  1. Matters not addressed in these Terms are governed by applicable law and customary commercial practice.
  2. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
  3. The Korean version of these Terms is the original. Translations are provided for convenience, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, the Korean version prevails if a translation differs from it.
